Adhesives

Theme Your Gift : Adhesives for the Scrapbooking Lover

Those layouts have got to stick together with something and scrapbookers need a number of options for tacking all the little pieces of a page together. A bottle of sticky, white glue just isn't going to cut it when scrapbooking. By far, the most essential adhesive item is an tape runner - a dispenser for double sided tape that puts down a neat adhesive with just a swipe across whatever you want to stick down. For jobs the adhesive runner can't tackle, there are glue sticks, 3-D foam squares, glue dots, and metal/foam/fabric craft glues. The foam squares and glue dots come in handy when adding dimension to your layout or adhering small items. Like paper, all adhesives should be archival quality so your design and photos stand the test of time. Busy scrapbookers go through tape runners quickly so giving a runner with several refills would be a much appreciated gift. Having packages of glue dots specialized for use with certain types of paper, such as vellum, are also nice to have around and would make a great addition to a scrapbooking gift basket. Self-adhesive photo corners and embellishment glue sticks would also be welcome in any scrapbooker's supply collection.

TIP: GiftStashers, create a registry called Scrapbooking Theme and save choices there until you're ready to buy.
